Muhammad Wasay Mir is a geopolitical risk analyst with a background spanning journalism & strategy consulting.
Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, Wasay's journey began at Aitchison College, where he graduated as a gold medalist. His pursuit of global perspectives led him to Northwestern University in Qatar, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in Journalism and Strategic Communication and received the prestigious Dean's Award.
Driven by curiosity about international affairs and cross-cultural dynamics, Wasay has built his career across three continents, working with diverse organizations from international media outlets to cultural institutions and development agencies. This global experience informs his focus on energy markets, emerging technologies, and geopolitical risk.
Currently, Wasay is an Emerging Tech Fellow at Johns Hopkins SAIS, where he is pursuing a Master's in International Relations with a concentration in International Economics and Finance.
Based between Washington D.C. and Doha, he continues to provide strategic insights for diverse global audiences.
